We live on a 12-acre farm tucked back off a quiet country road, bordered by an orchard and woods all around our pastures. Just down the road is the Twin Cities Polo Club and two beautiful horse trails — reminders that this land has deep roots in horses and community.
While we don’t have our own horses right now, we have boarded them in the past. We know in our hearts this farm was meant to be shared. We’re raising our four kids here, teaching them to care for the land, respect animals and welcome neighbors like family. Boarding is our way of extending that same care to others.
Unlike larger barns, Sunflower Hill is small, family-run, and hands-on. Every horse here is known by name, cared for daily, and treated as part of our extended farm family. This isn’t just a service for us — it’s something we truly feel called to do.
🌻 Why Choose Sunflower Hill Family Farm?
If you’re looking for a warm, family atmosphere where your horse will be cared for as if they were our own, we’d love to welcome you to Sunflower Hill.
Peaceful trail riding begins right outside our gate, with direct access to two favorites in our community:
A tucked-away farm, private and peaceful — surrounded by woods and pasture, yet close to everything you need:
We’re the family behind Sunflower Hill — a small farm with big dreams.
Paul & Michelle – The dreamers and doers. You’ll usually find us caring for animals, fixing fences and projects, or enjoying the peace of country life (with the occasional hay in our hair and mud on our boots!).
The Kids – Our four farmhands-in-training. They’re learning responsibility, sneaking in play, and proving that farm chores build character (most days!).
For us, this farm isn’t just land — it’s home. It’s where we’re raising our kids, caring for animals, and creating a place we’re proud to share with others.
A place where horses thrive, families feel welcome, and the land is respected.
That’s our vision for Sunflower Hill — a small, family-run farm where community and country life come together.
Every day at Sunflower Hill, we commit to the details that keep horses safe and owners at ease — fresh water, clean stalls, secure fencing, and watchful eyes. We promise hands-on care, open communication, and the same attention we’d want for our own animals.
Here, horses aren’t just boarded — they’re known, valued, and cared for as if they were our own.
